This page was made from the Free Outdoor Fun &
Free Earthtone
Mulberry Paper Sets.
I printed one copy of the leaf-y background page as large as possible with the size
set to 100%. I also printed a light blue sheet from the Earthtone Mulberry Paper Set from
which I cut the free form 'river' from corner to corner. I sketched the river shape on the
back of the paper before I cut it.
To get even cuts on the photo corners, I made a
little triangle from scrap paper and used it as a cutting pattern to be sure all corners
matched. I printed one sheet of the small green plaid from the Outdoor Fun Set to mat the
photos on.
The sign came from the sheet with the twig frames, I just printed it 50% size.
The canoe for the page title, I just cut freehand from a small scrap of green paper.
The whole page is mounted on green acid free construction paper from Sam's Club.
For this page I printed a sheet of the large green plaid and the twig frames sheet. I
trimmed my photos just a little bit and cut the twig frame into four pieces to use for
photo corners.
The 'wooden' sign & tree are cut directly form the accessory page and
I wrote on them with a markers.
The plaid background is mounted on a sheet of acid free construction paper.
Total time was about 10 minutes.
Maria Knowles of
New Zealand sent us this double layout she made using a background from our Outdoor Fun Set. The ducks are
clipart, the big one using pop dots to make a paper toll type duck. Title and journaling
are computer generated and the plain colours are all cardstock.
Thanks Maria !
Maria sent this
additional layout that she made using our background paper and lots of punched leaves and
cut out lettering.
Our U.K. Customer Dottie Bennett made this
card using the free sample page of outdoors fun design corners using the outdoors
contrasting checks a square of green linen look card decorated with dragonfly stickers
backed with pearlised card and mounted on sticky pads

This was done completely on the computer. I used 3 sheets of your outdoor set. I used
a program called Ulead Photo Express My Scrapbook Edition. I was able to bring in each
paper as a jpeg and then I could crop, adjust, rotate etc, just like you would a photo.
I
used one for the background, one was adjusted to the size of the border on the left and
also a small square was cropped out of it and brought in to the main picture and used
behind the words. The same thing was done with the brown wood like paper and used to make
it look like they are holding down the pictures.
Thanks for the great sets of papers. I love being able to download them directly on to
my computer and print out as many as I need.

This layout of a group camping trip was sent to us by Chris L.
"Attached are several layouts that I have made using your wonderful
papers! I have enjoyed using the 'theme' aspect as it takes the guess work out of
"what should I use for this group of photos?" Thank you for your wonderful
site and for sharing it with us scrapbookers of the world--I love it! "
Chris sent us these layouts with the people's faces blacked out--we
didn't do that to these poor souls ! Not sure what the issue is here, but maybe they got
the idea from the friendly looking black spotted dog---or maybe he WAS a white dog
:o)
Anyway--Chris has combined our free printable graphics in a very
attractive way to give the feel of a outdoor picnic in these scrapbook layouts.
